Analog Devices brings Tactical Grade MEMS IMU for Positioning and Navigation Applications

Analog Devices introduced a tactical grade Inertial Measurement Unit ( IMU ) featuring industry leading precision and stability in the smallest , lightest and lowest power solution available . The high-performance ADIS16490 IMU paves the way for high-accuracy navigation , guidance , and positioning in applications ranging from aviation and unmanned systems to machine control and precision instrumentation to smart munitions , which were previously impossible due to prohibitive size or cost barriers . This new device delivers the performance expected from legacy solutions that are three times larger and more weight , at a fraction of the overall cost and power . Infineon launches Power PROFET new ultra-low ohmic smart high-side switch family

Infineon now launched Power PROFET , a new ultra-low ohmic smart high-side switch family . These protected switches offer the lowest on-resistance and the highest energy capability on the market . They enable the replacement of electromechanical relays and fuses in power distribution and junction boxes up to 40A DC . The Power PROFET family consists of four pin-compatible switches controlling currents from 20A to 40A DC . They share the same feature set . Only their on-state resistance RDS ( ON ) scales with 1.0mΩ , 1.5mΩ , 2.0mΩ , or 2.5mΩ for each device . The two lowest ohmic devices of the family , the BTS50010-TAD with 1.0mΩ and the BTS50015-1TAD with 1.5mΩ , are already available for highvolume . Mouser offers Bosch Sensortec ' s BHA250 and BHI160 Low-Power Sensor Hubs

Mouser Electronics is now stocking the BHA250 low-power sensor hub and BHI160 ultra-low power sensor hub from Bosch Sensortec . Designed specifically for always-on sensor applications in smartphones running the Android operating system , the BHA250 and BHI160 enable designers to offload sensor processing from the main processor , which can reduce power consumption and extend battery life . Mouser also offers corresponding shuttle boards for the sensor hubs . Both the BHA250 shuttle board and BHI160 shuttle board , available to order from Mouser , include four external magnetometers that can be connected to the sensor hubs using the available jumpers on the PCB .
