ELC website has a makeover !

The ELC website got a new “ face ” in August ! The web address is the same , but the Center ’ s website has a fresh new look and more intuitive navigation . The ELC website is now streamlined with the other departments in the College of Arts and Letters , which share a common template . One of the new features of the ELC website is an Events Calendar that can be found on the right hand side of the homepage . Students can check the calendar for ELC trips , activities , and important dates . The website includes contact information , bios for faculty , information about programs , costs , testing dates , and campus resources .

Fall sememster End of Term Party
On December 8 , the last day of the fall semester , the ELC hosted the End of Term Party at the Marriot Hotel in downtown East Lansing . The party is a tradition every semester for the Intensive English Program . Certificates were awarded to students with perfect attendance and to Outstanding Students . The movie titled “ The Dreamer ” created by the 093 Performing Arts class was shown . There were hors d ’ oeuvres , a photo slideshow , a photo booth , and dancing .
