Sheriffs: El Dorado County
In 2014, Sheriff D'Agostini called a local TV
production studio in an effort to get a recruiting
clip lined up to attract potential employees.
Producer Michael Dennis was the lucky guy
who got to take a ride along with deputies and
see first hand what a day on patrol entails.

In the five years since that first ride along, Michael Dennis and his crew have been out with the deputies three days a week, every week, logging countless hours of footage to bring into homes nationwide.
With the changing atmosphere around law enforcement, Sheriffs: El Dorado County represents El Dorado County Sheriff's employees as the real people they are, serving their community. Exemplifying the Sheriff's Vision of Total Care, Total Enforcement and Total Professionalism.
The quality work they have put together was recognized by the California On Location Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, California in December 2018. This ceremony celebrated the best location managers, location teams and public employees in California.
Sheriffs: El Dorado County took home two awards that night.
