2017 has been a year of immense trials and accomplishments for the El

Dorado County Sheriff's Office. The administration worked tirelessly to

secure funding and approval for the construction of a new Public Safety

facility that will better meet the needs of this community.

Last year, the Sheriff’s Office made their formal proposal to the Board of

Supervisors and offered a multitude of professional opinions to justify

their project; however, the most influential element came from our

citizens. Citizens who stood at the podium and let our Supervisors know

that the efficiency and security offered by our law enforcement officers

is of the highest priority.

This year, our dreams have become reality as the Board of Supervisors

approved and awarded the nearly $49 million contract to Clark/Sullivan

Construction and Broward Construction to begin final design and

construction of our new campus headquarters facility on Industrial Drive.

Sheriff D’Agostini and his organization are committed to continuously

improving the quality of life of the citizens of El Dorado County. His

vision encompasses, “Total Enforcement, Total Care, and Total

Professionalism” in the level of service that our law enforcement staff

provides to our citizens. It becomes evident that his vision has become a

reality when we receive such an outpouring of support from our

community throughout the year. This year, 2017, we share in these

triumphs and offer that we would not be as successful in our endeavors

without such an active and supportive community…

"Whatever good things we build, end up building us."
