POETRY
UNSUNG LOVE
PALLAVI VYAS
Walk away, as that, as is a reason
for darkness that sinks in the sea,
Let the heart cry in silence
holding a beat in despair,
Its only solitude –
as the eyes of hope look around
she was gone and this time never to be found.
She waited for a voice so faint
as the petals slowly fell in rain –
remember the sun that shone
remember the clouds that rhymed;
enriched with the beauty of love,
she fell only to learn
those songs that were unsung.
He keeps her love inside
where her memories hide.
And now in different worlds
they live, as slowly they end.
