In February, LC Lille has organized its second workshop, Electronicks. Ten EESTECers
had the chance to enjoy France for one week,
to create a paddle effect for instrument and
discover the way of life of the north part of
France. They experienced the carnival of
Dunkerque, one afternoon of fun with people
from a north town. After working on theirs
paddles, the participants have assisted to
the election of the student council: one week
of activities and fests where the students
choose the future members of the student
board. They also tasted food from all parts
of France with snails, cheese, wine and others delicious ingredients. It was a lot of fun to
see them try one of the strongest cheese in
the world! At the end, a concert, a lot fun and
wonderful memories for those EESTECers. LC
Cuisine misses you guys!
The workshop of LC Ankara, eMission Impossible has concluded with great success. While
learning about hybrid cars, CO2 emissions
and security systems, 20 EESTECers had
the chance to explore the beautiful Turkish
city. They visited old parts of Ankara, Ataturk
mausoleum, Turkish Bath, Nargile and tried a
Turkish Art called ‘Ebru’. They have also tried
Turkish food such as Kebab, Iskender, Ayran and many others. Furthermore, they had
two soft-skills trainings on Team Building and
Communication Skills which helped them in
developing themselves also in a non-technical way. Along with the organizers they had
technical trips to biggest factories of Turkey
on Automotive Research. And of course at
nights they lived the EESTEC Spirit at highest
level. Turkish hospitality and EESTEC spirit…
What else would you wish for?
For the past years, RoboMAC has always
been an international workshop and competition in robotics, programming and artificial
intelligence. This workshop has provided the
opportunity for EESTECers to work on new
robots by programming them and competing in different categories. Besides the lectures and all the hard work, participants had
a chance to enjoy the beauties of Skopje, to
liven up until morning hours and one of the
most important things - to feel the spirit and
energy LC Skopje has. According to the participants of this year’s event, there cannot be
any objective description that can reflect what
they have experienced in Skopje. It seems like
you just have to be the part of RoboMac to
see how incredible this competition is. Experience has shown that this event inspires both
organizers and participants to think big, get
involved and do more for EESTEC!
