Between the 2nd and 6th October, one of
LC Munich’s most special events took place.
We are talking about the notorious Oktoberfest-Exchange. Ten EESTECers had the courage to accompany LC Munich to the world’s
biggest beer booze. Four days in a row they
went to the Oktoberfest in the early mornings
to get a place in the big beer-tents so they
could drink the world famous Maß of beer,
1 Liter of beer, and eat roasted chicken while
singing to traditional Volkslieder, among others: ‘EinProsit, einProsit der Gemütlichkeit!’
Next, they visited famous sights in Munich.
Both Bavarian and EESTEC spirit made this
event magnificent. But these hardworking
EESTECers in LC Munich hope to welcome
YOU at the Oktoberfest 2014!
LC Ljubljana organized a Facebook application programming workshop called FB
Apps as one of the two main themes of its
dual workshop event. FB Apps featured 10
participants from different LCs. During the
event, participants learned the basics about
developing simple Facebook applications
and also attended more broad lectures about
managing and maintaining an online presence
and different online social platforms. During
their free time, the participants also had the
chance to explore the city of Ljubljana and
briefly travel across Slovenia.
Alongside the workshop FB Apps, LC Ljubljana organized a workshop on the tools
and skills of Public Relations. Together with
local participants, 10 EESTECers from different LCs had the chance to hear some great
thing from this topic. During the event, participants learned about different dimensions
of Public Relations, most notably managing a
website, constructively participating on social
platforms and maintaining important ties with
the public. Accompanied with the participants
of other workshop they had the chance to explore the capital of Slovenia enjoy the beauties of this beautiful country.
