LC Banja Luka
LC Banja Luka joined EESTEC family at Congress in Belgrade in 2004. From that time we
had organized 6 Workshops, 3 exchanges
and this year we have the honor to organize
ECM 2014.
Beside international activities, we have put
a lot of effort in local ones such as ‘’Soft
Skills Academy’’ and ‘’Open day’’. We have
already organized SSA for past 3 years
and since it was very successful our plan is
to continue and make it a traditional event
of our LC. Open day is a new, baby event,
which has been organized last year. The aim
of Open day is to connect employers and our
students, their potential employees through
presentations and discussions. Motivation of
older members and number of new members
has risen since we had organized these local
events. Motivated by the desire and commitment of everyone involved in the organization
of previous events we decided to bring EESTEC community to our city. Being in a heart of
EESTEC world, we expect a great number of
EESTECers from all around Europe to come
and witness the awesomeness of Banja Luka
firsthand.
On previous ECM in Tallinn these working
sessions were covered: International Awareness, Training sessions, Best Practices for
FR, Best Practices for HR and Event Organization, Best Practices for PR, Lykeion, IT
Session, Open Space Technology and LC
Hangout. All participants gave their best effort to make them very productive. The goal
was that the LCs had the chance to talk with
each other about topics in order to exchange
ideas, give advice, improve International projects and their LCs with new knowledge. As
you can see participating on ECM requires a
lot of work, involvement and energy, but you
don’t have a reason to worry. We will make
sure that you have enough time to recharge
your batteries and blow off your steam. You
will have a chance to get in touch with our
customs and culture, as well as to experience
Banja Luka’s exciting nightlife.
