Financial Aid The UK’s National Union of Students (NUS) estimates the average annual cost of living in England (outside of London) is £12,056. As the UK’s capital city, London tends to be a more expensive place to live and prices differ between regions across the UK. Average annual living costs are: Rent • Many British universities are registered to disperse federal loans. Check www.fafsa.gov to find out which ones are registered. • Many institutions offer international students scholarships. Information can usually be found on the international pages of the university website.
