DLF adopts the most populated government school in Uttar Pradesh !

Adarsh primary school, Haraula village, Noida was established in 1960, and is one of the oldest government schools to be built in Uttar Pradesh. The residents of Haraula village in Noida came together in 1960 to build a common hall by crowd funding it themselves and utilizing it for conducting regular classes for young children. Then as the number of students grew, the UP govt built the basic infrastructure with 5 classes at a time to setup the school and presently accounts to 25 classrooms, that now has 794 male students and 831 female students under its’ roof! Though the history is glorious, the present scenario does not seem so. The children had no access to clean drinking water, no hygienic washrooms, dimly lit classrooms and a dilapidated state of the building when Nitin Jose, a final year student of journalism at MBICEM, IP university, visited the school with regard to a college project.

Journalism student plays vital role.
