In a nutshell here is why we want to start a brewery.
‐We respect the culture of beer traditions and seek to improve upon
existing styles as well as creating our own.
‐We will support cultural organizations and events that strengthen
and enrich life in the South.
‐We will protect our environment by striving to be environmentally
conscious in our business and brewing practices and support local
organizations working to conserve our natural resources.
‐We will value our employees and are committed to providing
opportunities for personal and professional growth.
‐We will provide our customers and business partners with the highest
quality products, exceptional service, and an honest dialogue.
With over thirty years of industry experience and close to twenty years
of home brewing experience we are ready to take the next step. This
brewery started on the back of a napkin over 5 years ago. Why did we
wait so long? Five years ago we were passionate about craft beer and
we didn't know how to run a brewery. We could brew a batch of
incredible beer on a small scale but a bigger scale seemed scary. We
did a ton of market research over a course of 5 years and have visited
close to 225 breweries, asking the same questions over and over
again. So now we feel confident that we know how to scale our recipes
up and produce a beer that will bring something new to the landscape.
We love beer and we are excited about bringing that passion to the
market.
We look forward to sharing a beer with you when you come to the
brewery and everyone will be invited to the public grand opening. Until
then we are a work in progress. We are going to continue to listen to
our fans while we work on honing our existing recipe base. We have a
lot to do in the next five years, including getting a brewery open. Our
doors will be open at some point in the first quarter of 2015.
