Siviwe is the founder of Pilgrim Clothing ZA. She showed an interest in a lot of things like interior
design and architectural technology, being an intern everywhere. She then went on to study a
BA in fashion design where her graduation collection won the Best Menswear Collection, she
was so shocked. Prior to this, she went to Cape Town to assist Gabriella Fraser, also a designer,
while she was there the doors started opening.

After all of that, she applied for the AFI FastTrack program and got in with her excellent
graduation collection. This was all self-made, even shooting her own collection in a leap of faith.
While she was in this competition she started to get a taste for what it means to be a fashion
designer who showcases at Fashionweek. Even though she didn’t win, getting in the top 12, she
loved every moment of it.
