SIMPLY GRANOLA
We at Editéur Plus enjoy creativity of every
kind, and it is quite enjoyable to feature cre-
ativity of a delicious kind once in a while. To-
day we get to know Nicola Kok who uses her
creative energy to create a great start to all
our days: granola. ‘No meal is complete to me
without a sweet ending (that includes break-
fast!),’ is an adage that she takes seriously
and is sharing with others through her brand,
Simply Granola.
The quirky Nicola, a twin, grew up on the Gar-
den Route with her parents and three sisters.
Her years at university were filled with ana-
lytical studies. She completed two degrees
at Stellenbosch University before qualifying
as a Charted Management Accountant with
CIMA. Nicola bakes her own granola. Her ap-
proach is simplicity: all inputs, processes and
outputs are not tainted and complicated by
the addition of strange ingredients and super
advanced science. She has created ‘a product
where the front of the packet is as honest as
the back.’
