values family. From spending her younger years working
with her uncle and grandfather, to spending time with
her four children, family is paramount.
Anna has had the privilege of meeting admired pho-
tographer, Jean Noir, when he presented a workshop in
South Africa some time ago. After struggling to find her
space and her niche as a photographer, Anna was grate-
ful to discover her ‘voice’ through the workshop. ‘Some-
thing just went “click” as soon as Jean started talking and
I knew that I wanted to shoot portraits. He taught me
how to shoot with emotion.’
‘The memories that come with an image are so very val-
uable.’ Anna loves being able to freeze moments in time
