EDITÉUR PLUS Help people to see, feel and connect with the Artwork. Let them know it’s okay to be broken, to feel or be hurt, to be fearful, to be in love and be happy and not feel guilty about it. Let them know, that they are not alone or the only ones that go through life. Without hesitation I would say, my mother, God bless her soul as she is not with us today. Having a rough childhood and growing up being poor; a single mother of three chil- dren wasn’t a walk in the park. I knew from the age of 8 I wanted to be an Artist one day, I was given a book at the age of 10; one of Leonardo’s original Collections Published by IL PRISMA EDITIONS (don’t know how old the book is but pretty sure it’s an antique by now) The Fundamentals of Drawing. I used it every day to teach myself how to draw and learn how the body anatomy and other things work. With everything that’s ever been built or digitally por- trayed, it started off with only a single sketch. I see things differently, I had and still do have a lot of vivid dreams and visions, which is hard to explain, so I put it down in any creative way possible, for me creating an artwork just happens. I don’t have to think about it. I am a self-taught artist, as my mother never had the funds to send us to any form of college or university, though she still motivated us to pursue our dreams and stood by our visions and decisions we made in life. She knew being an artist would be tough, and to be honest it really is, but she kept me positive about my God-given talent to keep on pushing and keep on going, never stop drawing,” if you have to constantly doodle even when you are bored then do it, just please never quit, you have a God-given talent use it to the best of your ability!” She’d always say. Not ever has she told me that being an artist isn’t a real job or it’s just a hobby, she used to say, it’s not work if you love what you are doing. Before social media, I heard this from her first!
