Maxwell: Yes, that’s the prize. We know everyone is excited because
we’re going to London. We think for us from the get-go the real prize is
mentorship for a year. We’ve had the privilege to be featured in many
publications and we’ve had some opportunities come our way, but the
mentorship is really exciting for us.
It excites me to see upcoming South African designers meet success with
such grace and humility. The energy they radiate and the passion in their
pieces is something that will be felt on runways around the world as more
doors open for these two. Watch this space. There is surely more to come.
