The Human Resources Office offers great learning for personnel leaders
If you are seeking training that provides a comprehensive overview of the myriad tasks and responsibilities of the Human Resources Office : The First 90 Days and Beyond this is the workshop for you !
The idea for this workshop came from an evaluation from a Personnel Academy participant who commented that the first session introduction should be offered by ACSA as a one-day workshop to benefit human resources administrators , classified managers , and other support staff who were new to human resources or with experience in human resources . The workshop includes a detailed calendar of duties and procedures related to human resources and a human resources self‐assessment instrument . You will :
• Identify and understand the complexities of HR administration .
• Describe the functions performed by the HR office .
• Identify the various public stakeholders with whom the HR office must interact and what results may be expected from those interactions .
• Become familiar with recent legislative and case law changes .
• Understand HR procedures and the monitoring of critical timelines .
• Become familiar with an HR office self‐assessment instrument .
ACSA has successfully sponsored this workshop in several locations and is actively seeking other locations in the state .
