An East Cleveland, Ohio native, Patrice G. Coleman has enjoyed a long and
successful career as a makeup, hair, and fashion stylist on feature film, television,
and print media projects working with many celebrity and A-list artists, including
Taraji P. Henson, Samuel L. Jackson, Shemar Moore, and Sophia Vergara, She
has worked on over 90 films, including recent projects Rectify, Insurgent, and The
Hunger Games: Mocking Jay, Creed, and Miracles from Heaven.

You are a Spelman College graduate.
How would describe that experience?

How did you start your career as a
professional makeup artist?
