challenging for me at first. He was a maverick
and wanted to do things in a different way

Who are some of the actors you have
especially enjoyed working with?

and I had to adapt to a new way of doing
things on his sets. By the time I worked with
Tyler, I had worked on film and television
projects for more than 15 years. During the
down times working with Tyler, I also worked
on other projects.

One of the actors I loved working with is Taraji
P. Henson [star of FOX-TV’s Empire]. I was so
impressed with her commitment to her craft.
Taraji is all about the character. She’s always
on time, always prepared, and easy to work
with. I was trained to develop characters and
