Warum haben wir uns für Lee in diesem Outfit als
Cover Model entschieden?
Für uns symbolisiert sie die Brücke zum afrikanischen Kontinent und damit zu einem Thema,
das uns alle bewegt: Menschen, die ihre Heimat aufgeben und sich auf den Weg zu uns machen. In der Hoffnung auf eine bessere Zukunft
für sich und ihre Kinder. Lee trägt Bio-Tüll - eine
Stoff-Neuheit aus Bio-Baumwolle! Eco Fashion
braucht dringend mutige Stoffe und Effekt-Stoffe für DesignerInnen, die Haute Couture entwerfen, damit Aufsehen erregen und die Öffentlichkeit erreichen, denn der Eco-Fashion gehört die
Zukunft !
Die Transparenz des Tülls steht für den zweiten
Aspekt: für Transparenz in der Produktion, im
Umgang mit Menschen und gerade auch in der
Politik.
Das Kreuz im Outfit von „Captain Skirt“ ist der
dritte Aspekt, den wir ansprechen möchten. Warum bringt Religion so viel Gewalt hervor, wo
doch in allen heiligen Schriften von Frieden und
Liebe gesprochen wird? Missbrauchen wir die
Religionen eher als spaltendes Element, statt uns
alle als gleichwertige Menschen zu sehen?
Die Blume in der Piraten-Augenklappe steht für
den Wunsch, dass Eco Fashion die Welt erobert –
mit Charme und für einen gesunden Körper.
In diesem Magazin haben wir uns das Thema
„Nostalgie“, dem „damals und heute“ verschrieben. Wir spüren den Pionieren nach. Wir verleihen David Bowie den Titel „Bio-Bowie“ und
widmen ihm mit Melina Johannsens Fotostrecke
eine Hommage.

Why did we decide for Lee as cover model in that
outfit?
For us she symbolizes the bridge to the African
continent and thus to a subject that is concerning us all: People who give up their home and
who have to find their way to our countries. Hoping for a better future for themselves and their
children. Lee is wearing organic tulle, a fabric
novelty made of organic cotton! Organic fashion urgently needs „bold“ fabrics and effect materials for designers, the haute couture fashion,
thus attracting attention and reaching the public
because eco fashion is the future!
The transparency of the net lace stands for the
second aspect: transparency in the production,
in dealing with people and especially in politics.
The cross in the outfit of „Captain Skirt“ is the
third aspect that we want to address. Why does
religion produce so much violence, while all holy
scriptures talk about peace and love? Are we
rather abusing religions as separating elements
instead of seeing us all as equal human beings?
The flower in the pirate eye patch represents the
wish that eco fashion may conquer the world charming and for a healthy body.
In this issue, we have committed ourselves to the
themes of „Nostalgia“, the „then and now“. We
are tracing the pioneers. We award David Bowie
with the title „Bio-Bowie“ and we pay tribute to
with Melina Johannsens photo gallery homage.
