March 20 , 2017 - SMART Education Review , Alpharetta , Georgia --- To demonstrate the commitment of the ‘ Business for Education ’, Finnish-American Chamber of Commerce Southeast , SMART Community Exchange ( SCE ), and Georgia Department of Education , are hosting the 4th Annual TransAtlantic Education Leadership Exchange ( TELE ) 2017 Summit in Atlanta .
The Finnish Education delegation embarks on a five-day trade mission April 18 , 2017 . The agenda will share best practice and lessons learned how international Educator Exchange can improve workforce development and learning in preK-12 classrooms , and how ‘ Business for Education ’ can help create a high-quality 21st century labor force .
The 2017 TELE will be hosted by the Georgia Department of Education . This event will bring together Leaders in Education and Business , to share and learn from each other . The agenda will include U . S . Teacher experiences in Finland ; how U . S . schools can host a teacher from Finland at no cost to schools ; how Educators and Business Leaders can join upcoming bilateral Education Trade Missions ; how schools and companies can engage in ‘ Business for Education ’ partner programs ; how schools can raise much needed funds through new SMART giving program for schools ; and how individuals , enterprises , and organizations can benefit and participate in bilateral SMART trade and investment programs .
