Photographs tell stories of people at a certain time in their lives and I love capturing the emotions of those moments. Whether it's a fashion editorial, a portrait, a wedding, an engagement or a commercial shoot...it's the unscripted moments that tell these stories and that is what I am drawn to.
I've been shooting over 20 years and started during the days of film. The experience of shooting on film and understanding the use of light laid a great foundation for my approach to photography. To this day, I still shoot on film. There's just something about the raw images that truly tell a story.
Todd specializes in fashion, portrait and commercial photography. Todd has photographed with many country artists including Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert and George Strait. A selection of these photos have been published in People and Country Weekly magazines. Other commercial work has been published in Vogue, the Wall Street Journal, Texas Highways, Influential Magazine and Celebrate Austin. Other commercial clients include Altar'd State, Facebook, Pinterest, Beardbrand and Neiman Marcus. He is the Director of Media for Fashion X and Producer, Videographer for the Daytripper TV show on PBS, an Emmy award-winning travel show. He has a documentary that was an official selection of the 2015 Austin Film Festival and a 2015 MarCom Award as a Producer for a commercial spot with the City of Granbury.
