Who You Are to GOD

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him Who called you.
What more do you need to see what you mean to the Creator of the Universe? Maybe another verse in His Word that may convince you? Maybe John 3:16? Or how about Matthew 10:31 that you are worth more than many sparrows? On these verses, I want you to take the time to look them up. I would love for you to see what I see in God’s Word; how much you mean to Him! He has written your name on the palm of His hand (Isaiah 49:15-16). But more than that, the sacrifice He made on the cross for all of us. His Son Jesus Christ paid a great price that you would know the length and width, height and depth of His love for you, for all of us. (Ephesians 3:17-19)
God’s love for you knows no bounds, it has no limits and it will find you wherever you are. No, you are not to far gone for His Love. You are not in a place where His Love can’t find you. You are not in a darkness where His Love shines bright to dispel it. There is no lie greater that His Love can not tear down. His Love is so accessible that all you have to do is accept His Son Jesus into your heart. We tend to make it much harder than it has to be to accept His Love and Presences in our hearts. We fear that we are not good enough for such an awesome, omnipotent and great creator to lower Himself to live within us. You are not the only one who has failed Him, I have, we all have. That is where His Love takes over. That’s where His Love and Grace is greater than our sins. If we had to be perfect to receive it, then all what is in written in His Word would be for not. His Love is shone time and time again throughout the Bible.
In the Old Testament, I see it more like a father correcting his children, guiding them, being firm on how to be. In the New Testament is more of how great a Fathers love is for His children and how far our Father will go do show His amazing Love through Grace. This is where I just want to make this short and sweet. God loves you…. yes YOU, He loves you so much He died a terrible death for YOU! He sacrificed Himself for YOU…meaning He took YOUR place. He became the pure sacrificial Lamb for YOU! I pray that this finds you and helps you to understand that……HE TRULY LOVES YOU.
