EDITOR'S WORDS

I hope you enjoyed our first school magazine issue. Our mission is involving students in writing, editing, doing research, taking photographs and in the end reading our magazine.

A big thank you to all foreign language teachers who worked alongside the students as well as teachers who gracefully shared their photographs and materials with us. Also a big thank you to a senior student Kruno Varga whose many essays and many hours of dedicated work made this all possible.

This first issue was dedicated to our school and our town. We hope our following issues will present more of our students thoughts, feeling and ideas....more of their creativity which we encounter every day...but it sadly gets left behind because our lessons are limited by time and curriculum.

To end this issue, I would like to leave you all with a thought. Doing good should never ever be seen as choice simply because it isn’t one. Doing good is giving back. Giving the smallest thing possible, to nature that has given us so much. We should not take all its gifts for granted. We must not feel proud when we do good, but modest because we can still do so much more. So do something good every single day. To nature and people around you. A kind word, a smile, a thank you. Let’s not wish for a better future. Let’s make it better!
