started in music at an early age...TREND$ began freestyle rap at age 14, TREND$ grew up in one of the most violent housing projects in the northeast bronx with his Grandparents in a very religious setting. Trend$ often wrote growing up, at an early age Trend$ was classified as a gifted youth. Trend$ didn't feel completely happy in religion, didn't feel completely happy in school either. Trend$ began writing for his first Mix tape in 2005. It reached the senior marketing division in Warner Brothers, Trend$ was not signed but kept pushing on. Trend$ kept writing and traveling with Platinum artist MIMS. Trend$ learned a lot from MIMS touring locally with him. Trend$ didn't drop an album in several years but continued to perfect his craft. Trend$ big break came when he met Chris Lighty from Violater Records, he began emailing Chris... Trend$ dreams were crushed when Chris Lighty passed three weeks later. Trend$erred and wrote his most powerful songs to date. Trend$ replaced cursing with heart to heart truthful lyrics. Trend$ latest works and songs hit underground radio by storm, he then joined Dr Jays GUNSDOWNLIFEUP tour sponsored by HHC.
