The Union Pacific Railroad runs through the heart
of Forney with two intermodal facilities in nearby
communities.
Access to rail-served sites are
available through our partnership with property
owners and Union Pacific. Forney is also located
close to two major commercial airports – Dallas
Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth International
Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world.

Our location in North Texas provides access in a day’s drive
to a very large population segment within the United States.
Forney is located along U.S. Highway 80, a four-lane divided
highway and sits 4 miles north of Interstate 20. Additionally,
within 10 miles of Forney lies Interstate 30, Interstate 635
(loop around Dallas) and U.S. Highway 175. Other nearby
highways include Interstate 35, Interstate 45, U.S. Highway
75 and the President George Bush Turnpike. Forney provides
Triple Freeport tax exemption on in-transit goods. Steve Silver

over 500,000 square feet of warehouse space and over 200
employees. Currently under construction, Goodyear Tire will
soon be part of the community with their 1.2 million square
foot distribution center at the Gateway development.
