Lady Hellebore walks by the light of the moon

Dancing as she goes by,

Singing her tune.

When darkness is in the sky.

“I can only come out at night,

So at morning they weep,

I can’t be out in sunlight,

So during the day I sleep.

They never see me,

But they know I’m here.

During the day they plea,

And these are the words I hear,”

Lady Lavender walks the meadow in spring

A vision of elegance as she passes by

This is the song she sings

When the sun is in the sky

“I’ve never felt so cold in spring

As the lambs come out to play

A part of me is missing

Day by day”

Lady Blue Belle blooms in the summer

And the breeze makes her ring

Waiting for her lover

This is what she sings

“Abandoned in the light of day

For all to see

You said this wasn’t a game

Then you left me”

Lady Rose sits in the damp of Autumn

As the world passes her by,

She begins to hum

As the sun sets in the sky

“love is like a flower,

With very sharp thorns

It can be kind if you tower

Or hurt you if you fall.

If I knew you’d leave me,

I wouldn’t have said those words,

I know you’ve heard my plea,

I’m certain you’ve heard”

Lady Snowdrop sits in the cold of winter,

As snow falls from the sky,

Her thoughts are bitter,

This is what she cries,

“You can fill my head with promises,

You can fill my heart with lies.

But with this I’m positive,

You are sly.

Don’t fill my heart with empty ‘I love you’s ‘

Because it’s more than a daughter you’ll lose”

“I hear my daughter’s songs and I weep,

The promises I try to keep.

I can’t be with them by day, for I am night,

They wouldn’t like me anyway

For I am Thomas Twilight.”
