For these cookies you will need:

200g of butter

300g of caster sugar

1 large egg

325g of self-raising flour

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or essence

250g of any chocolate of your choice

Add a dash (teaspoon) of milk if dough is dry

Tray covered in baking paper

Spoon/whisk/electric hand whisk/stand mixer

Knife

Scales

Oven glove

Large mixing bowl

1. Wash your hands

2. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees

Celsius or gas mark 6

3. Cream together your sugar and butter

4. Add your egg and mix

5. Add flour gradually whilst mixing

6. Add vanilla extract or essence to help

the flavouring

10.Place them on a baking tray quite a distance apart

11.Put in the oven and set the timer for 10 minutes. Or maximum of 12

12.Take them out and set to the side to cool

13.Finally enjoy!

7. It should now form a dough. If it is

dry or isn’t coming together then

add a dash (teaspoon) of milk

8. Add chocolate chips or break your

chosen chocolate into bits and add

to the mix

9. Make balls of the dough the size

you want the cookies to be

(remember they spread!!!)

10. Place them on a baking tray quite

a distance apart

11. Put in the oven and set the timer

for 10 minutes. Or maximum of 12

12. Take them out and set to the side

to cool

13. Finally enjoy!
