Imagine the “Devil Dog” or “Prometheus” flying over the city of Jasper. The two vintage aircraft are just part of the planes which will be taking part in the 10th Annual Jasper Air Show & Fly-In. The 10th Annual Jasper Air Show & Fly-in will be held on Saturday, March 15th and Sunday, March 16th at Jasper County Bell Field Airport, on Highway 190 West. New to the show this year will be the World War II Bomber “Devil Dog”, which is a B-25 from Georgetown. Aerobatics performer Skip Stewart will be back again flying the “Prometheus”, and Randy Henderson will be flying the infamous, “Texas T-Cart”, along with Dr. Stan Musick flying a P-51 Mustang. Other planes will include the Tora- Japanese Zero planes, along with a T-6, a Decathlon, an RV Acro, Skydivers, the Jasper Aero-modelers’ remote control planes, and much more! The B-25, P-51, and “Tora” Zero planes will perform a re-enactment of a World War II bombing run. Gates open at 9:00 a.m. for static display on both days. On display will be a Stearman, Super cub, Piper Cub, L-19 Birddog, Beech 18, and more! Arm Bands are available at KJAS Radio in advance, and at the gate: Prices are remaining the same as last year.
