A remarkable company of dancers who, working alongside choreographers and artists, have developed an accomplished and thrilling body of new work. The dancers’ ability to embrace dance in meaningful ways is reflected in their successful performances on various platforms and stages across the region, surprising and enthralling audiences. The programme will explore a gentler more compassionate view of how the world could be, in stark contrast to aggressive and divisive forms of rule. The company welcome renowned choreographer, Angus Balbernie from France to create a specially commissioned new piece for i-DANCE, in collaboration with costume artist Myra Ostacchini. A duet from the unique Touchdown Dance, directed by Angus, which features extraordinary dancer, Stuart Jackson who is autistic and blind will complete the programme. Nathan and his six man band perform a great variety of country, Irish, pop and ballads - music to appeal to all ages. The bullying Mr Bumble, devious gang leader Fagin, menacing Bill Sikes, his kindly girlfriend Nancy and the Artful Dodger are brought vividly to life in the atmospheric setting of the old mill.
