Meet our hero Dick Whittington and his feline friend, who set off from Kilmarnock to seek their fortune in London. SAT 16 DEC · 7.30PM · £24 · GRAND HALL The brainchild of Martyn Ware, born from the collapse of the original Human League, 80’s synth pioneers Heaven 17 have stood the test of time and been an influence on the future of modern music for over thirty years. Their debut 1981 album, Penthouse and Pavement, was, and remains, a modern classic. Glenn Gregory and Martyn continue to perform the hits from their overwhelming back catalogue, including Temptation and (We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang, as well as unveiling their first new material in 12 years. EAYT is now recruiting new members for their well-established young people's theatre company. If you are aged between 5-18 years and with a keen interest in musical theatre and production, then this group is for you! Three terms of ten weeks (which follow school term times) take place annually. Students are also required to be part of two productions taking place each year at the Palace Theatre.
