L E T T E R F ROM T H E H E A D G OL F P ROF E S SI ONA L Pro Shop Staff As some of you already know, Randy and Eric have taken new jobs and, as a result, we have 4 new people working in the pro shop. Randy will continue working on Sundays and taking care of the Couples events, while Eric will still work a day or two once his new schedule gets settled in. The new guys working will be Jason Stone who comes from the north side course Huntington Hills. Karl Biedelsehies is coming out of retirement and a welcome addition. Cody Creel was unfortunately liv- ing in Panama City and is a victim of Hurricane Michael. Cody has extensive knowledge and experience in the golf opera- tion. Austin McClellan is currently enrolled in Polk State College in aerospace program and wants to fly commercially after school. Please stop in and say hello and be patient while they learn the system. Callway Demo Day November 30th from 1pm to 3pm there will be a Callaway Short Game fitting day. The location will be around the chipping and putting area where you can try the latest in equipment to shave strokes off your game. Toys for Tots Tournament Date: Saturday November 10, 2018, 8am Shotgun Start, “Four Person Scramble” Entry Fee: $25 Eaglebrooke Golf Member (plus applicable cart fees) Non-Members: $85 + tax includes prizes and all course fees *Each player is required to bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to the Toys for Tots Organization. Entry fee includes appetiz- ers in the Trophy Room after play. There must be one Eaglebrooke Golf Member in each group. Total money collected in 2017: $3083.00 (72 players total) and lots of Toys for the Kids!! Men’s Member-Member Date: November 3rd and 4th, 2018. Entry Fee: $100 per player, plus applicable cart fees includes: prize money and lunch on Sunday. Time: Shotgun start Saturday at 8am. Shotgun start Sunday at 8am. Lunch immediately following golf on Sunday during awards. Format: Saturday - “9 holes scramble, 9 holes modified alternate shot, Net” Sunday - “18 holes Best Ball, Net” Tees: Default tees, with the white tees the furthest back tees anyone plays. Flights: Teams will be flighted by the combined handicap of the twosome and based on the size of the field. Eligibility: Open to all Eaglebrooke Golf Members. Deadline: Thursday November 1, 2018 @ 6pm New Course Ratings The Florida State Golf Association has finished up rating the golf course, and you will see some small changes when it comes to the overall yardage of the tees you play. We will be ordering new scorecards for the golf carts, but the scorecards we print from the computer for events will have the new updated information correct. Adopt a Hole Program This program is for anyone wanting to help make the hole they live on or their favorite hole look better than it already does. Those that sign up are asked to fix divots, repair ball marks on the green and clean up any debris on or around the hole. We will have monthly winners and helper events throughout the year. So far, these people are participating on these holes: #2 Chris Haughee, #4 Doug McLaughlin, #5 Dave Conway, #8 Rod Kite, #10 Albert Sagnella, #11 John Doran, #13 Mike Per- rone, #14 Tim Milcich & The Giliams, #15 Dan Sherman & Dave Jones, #16 Tom Jacoby and Eric Cousins, #17 The Haake Family, and #18 Larry Anderson.
