L E T T E R F ROM T H E G E N E R A L M A NAG E R I am happy to announce that the much-anticipated FALL weather is finally here. During the month of October, we experienced record high temperatures for our region. As the cooler, beautiful weather rolls in, the demand for outdoor activities (including golf) naturally increases. As a friendly reminder, Eaglebrooke members have advanced tee time booking privileges. Platinum members can make a tee time reservation up to 30 days in advance, Gold members can book 14 days out, and Silver members can book 7 days out. At the end of October, Guest Passes were mailed out to all members. If you haven’t received your passes, they should be arriving in your mailbox any day. A “guest pass” will allow you to bring a guest to our facility at a $25 cart fee rate. All guests must be accompanied by a member in good standing and are valid at times when your membership is valid. These passes will expire at the end of 2019. Platinum & Gold Members will receive 6 passes, and Silver Members will receive 2 passes. I would like to thank all of our members that attended the Bunker & Driving Range Drainage Repair meeting that was held on October 10th. Our team thought that the meeting was well received, and we are excited to break ground on this project. The Club at Eaglebrooke will be putting together another workshop prior to the CDD meeting on Tuesday, November 20th. This workshop will begin at approximately 5:30pm (30 minutes prior to the CDD meeting). The Club at Eaglebrooke is now working closely with the Lakeland Magic. The Lakeland Magic is the “farm league” team for the Orlando Magic, and the newly renovated RP Funding Center is their new home for many years to come. We would like to offer our members (and their kids / grandkids) complimentary tickets to the home opener game versus the Westchester Knicks on November 10th. Please email [email protected] if you would like to reserve some tickets for the game. Traditionally, the members of our facility have been overly gracious to our team around the holidays. Each year, an automated $40 charge is placed on the member account to help provide our team with a little something extra for the holiday season. You will see this charge on your November statement. The funds collected from this are divided up to our hourly team members, based on hours worked throughout the year. This is totally optional for our members. If you wish to opt out, please send an email to [email protected] before November 20th. In an effort to enhance our member & guest experience here at the club, the Trophy Room will open at 7am beginning on November 2nd. On Monday – Friday, we will have limited breakfast option available before players tee it up in the morning. On the weekends, our Brunch menu will be available at 7am.
