Hey everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the beautiful springtime weather & the great golf course conditions at our
facility. It is nice to finally see the precipitation stay away from us for a few weeks. This past month (April) was one for the
record books. The first ever Augusta National Women’s Amateur was held early in the month, and we got to witness some
great golf. This year’s Masters tournament was one that will never be forgotten. Tiger was able to achieve what many people
thought they would never see again, winning his 15th Major. Does he have what it takes to beat Jack’s record?
We have a lot of exciting things
happening at the Club right now,
spearheaded by the Summer Sizzle
Membership. The Summer Membership
proved to be a very successful program
in 2018, generating almost a quarter of a
million dollars in revenue for the facility.
It provided some traffic during lower
utilized times on the tee sheet, and we
ended up converting close to 50 annual
membership holders after the Summer
Program ended. We are off to a great
start with the program thus far in 2019
and we plan to see some membership
conversions once again after the
program ends. Its still not too late to sign
up!
I’m also very excited to announce that
our facility will be purchasing and
installing a water and ice station in
the coming weeks. This station will be
positioned at the entrance of the golf shop. I think everyone agrees that this will be a very nice addition to our member and
guest experience at the facility. In addition to our “water and ice” station, we will be adding a refrigeration unit in the pro
shop. This will allow us to better service our members and guests by offering Bottled Water, Powerade’s, Soda’s, etc during
times when the Trophy Room is not open. Effective on May 1st, the Trophy Room will open at 9am on Monday – Friday,
and at 7am on Saturday & Sunday.
I am optimistic about the growth of our Junior Programs at the facility. We had an awesome “Spring Break” Junior Golf
Camp with 16 participants. In the coming weeks, we will be introducing dates for an expanded Summer Junior Golf Camp
schedule, as well as a Parent Junior Tournament. Be on the lookout for more details.
Eaglebrooke has partnered with the Brooke Bennett Swim Academy for 2019 and will be offering swimming instruction for
people of all skill levels. More information can be found by visiting www.bbswimschool.com. As a friendly reminder, the
