Dear Eaglebrooke Residents!
Now that Spring cleaning is underway, it seems many residents are looking to have garage sales. As an
Eaglebrooke resident, you can have a one-day garage sale per year in accordance with the Eaglebrooke
Declaration. Please remember that the Guard house does not let anyone in before 8am for garage sales so please
do not advertise this any earlier.
Also, please remember pets must be on a leash when outside the home. Polk County Leash Law, Section 14-22
states, “a dog at large is one who is off premises of its owner or custodian and who is not under the direct control
by means of a leash, fence, chain or cord of sufficient strength.” Also, on page 36, Section 4, Animals and Pets of
the Covenants, it states, “dogs shall at all times, whenever they are outside a Lot, must be confined on a leash held
by a responsible person.” Therefore, your Pet must be on a leash at all times. An electronic fence does not mean
your Pet may be left outside unattended. Please also be courteous of your neighbors and pick up any feces that
may have been left on other’s lawns and/or common areas.
If you are traveling for the summer, please remember to leave an emergency contact information so we can reach
you if needed. With hurricane season approaching, please make sure that all items that could be missiles in a
storm are properly stored away.
We still have drivers in the community that are speeding and blowing through the crosswalks. Please remember
that the pedestrians have the right away and you must slow down!
We still have members that have not paid the 2019 Annual Assessment. Late letters have been sent out to the
residents that are delinquent. Please make sure to pay these assessments right away.
We are looking for ways to communicate better to all the members via the portal. If you have not received an
invitation to the portal, please go online to https://enprovera.appfolio.com/connect/users/request_access to
request access to the portal.
The 2019 Board of Directors will be looking into electronic voting for all future votes for meetings and obtaining
quorum.
Please remember if you are a club lot and have lawn issues, please do not speak with the workers. It is best to
contact the Manager at [email protected] or call (863)-808-0035.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!
Thank you,
The Eaglebrooke Board of Directors
