February is officially in the books and what a great month it
was! Our region experienced favorable weather throughout
the month, which bodes well for our “in-season” time of year.
The financial results of the facility through the first 5 months
of our fiscal year budget are doing very well. The membership
has increased to 194 golfing memberships and 236 total
memberships. The bunker renovation finished up nicely, and
we were able to attack some of the drainage issues on the
driving range. Our team is very pleased with the way that our
facility continues to improve.
Back in late January, we sent out a survey to our email
database. We appreciate everyone who took the time to
complete the survey. The results of the survey have been
shared with the management team of Eaglebrooke, and we are
carefully reviewing the results & feedback.
One thing you will notice in the very near future is some
additional efforts of communication. The first effort is the
addition of a “text club”. Any person that signs up to be a
member of our “text club” will receive club updates via text
messages. If you would like to be a part of our Text Club,
please text the word EAGLEBROOKE to 24587. In addition to
the text club, we will be adding “information centers” in four
locations throughout the facility. Information centers will be
located in each of our foyers, the pro shop, and the countertop
directly behind the hostess station. Each information center
will hold multiple pieces of collateral (calendars, event flyers,
membership information, etc). We will continue to send out
the monthly newsletters, post on Facebook, Instagram, &
Nextdoor, along with our email blasts throughout the week.
In addition to some improved communication efforts, we
have a few other projects that we are working on. First off, we
will be working to have the on-course restrooms painted. The
trees around these facilities will be trimmed up, and we will
be working to add electricity to the restroom on Hole #14.
Secondly, we are getting ready to begin some repairs to broken
cart paths. We will address the worst of the paths this year, and
will continue to chip away each year as the paths age.
We have roughly 8 more weeks really busy days on the
golf course before we start to move out of “season”. Please
remember to take advantage of your tee time booking window
privileges as members.
Platinum - 30-day booking window
Gold - 14-day booking window
Silver - 7-day booking window
If you struggle to get a tee time when you want to play, please
make myself or John Greiner aware. Often times, we can get
creative and work you on to the golf course. We also have some
options with other nearby facilities if you are wanting to play
elsewhere. Our goal is to be as accommodating as possible for
our members.
On behalf of the team at Eaglebrooke, we look forward to
a fabulous month of March. Know that we remain at your
disposal should you have any questions about your Club, our
services, or our offerings. We love hearing about how we can
improve your experience!
Sincerely,
Congrats to Nick Pugliese & Maria Moore! Nick & Maria
are the most recent winners of the Wednesday Night Pot
of Gold. On Wednesday, February 13th they were awarded
$650! The Pot of Gold Drawing is every Wednesday night.
You must be in the house when your name is drawn to
claim your prize! We hope to see you soon!
