L E T T E R F ROM T H E P ROP E RT Y M A NAG E R Happy New Year Eaglebrooke Residents, I hope everyone had a marvelous winter Holiday! Thank you so much La’Sha White and all the other volunteers that helped decorate the entrance to Eaglebrooke. The community looked beautiful and festive for the Holidays! Mark your calendars for the HOA upcoming events: (all meetings are held in the Clubhouse) • January 8, 2019 at 5:00pm – CDD Workshop on Drainage Issues • January 15, 2019 at 6:00pm – Eaglebrooke Architectural Committee will meet to approve requests. • January 15, 2019 at 6:30pm – Eaglebrooke Community Board of Directors Meeting. - This was moved from the 2nd Tuesday to the 3rd Tuesday of the month due to the CDD meeting being on January 8, 2019. • February 13, 2019 at 6:00pm – New Homeowners Welcome Meeting • February 19, 2019 at 6:30pm – Eaglebrooke Community Association Annual Meeting – Watch for your Meeting Notices the last week of January. If you are interested in being a candidate for the 2019/2020 Board of Directors, please come to the office or go online to Eaglebrooke.net (http://www.eaglebrooke.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Intent-to-run-1.pdf) to obtain an Intent to Run Form for the Board of Directors. These need to be turned in no later than January 8, 2019. This month your Annual Meeting Notice will be sent out along with your proxy. These will also be loaded into the Homeowner Portal. If you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting, please send in your proxy. Last year we did not have quorum for an Annual Meeting, due in part by the lack of proxies being returned prior to the meeting. With postage on the rise, we are looking to save money and communicate better to all the members via the portal. If you have not received an invitation to the portal, please go online to https://enprovera.appfolio.com/ connect/users/request_access to request access to the portal. Thank you to the Board of Directors, Lithea Beck, Jarrett Gregory, Art Fulmer, Bob Rodrigues and Rich Weaver for the wonderful work and time that was put into Eaglebrooke this past year. One big project that the Board approved is the Rental Rules and Regulations. If you have any questions about rentals you can visit Eaglebrooke.net which will provide forms, procedures and the Restrictions. You can also contact [email protected] for any questions you may have. Please also note that Polk County Land Development Code allows for no short-term rentals. Thank you so much to the Board and all the Residents! Looking forward to another fantastic year! 22 eaglebrooke newsletter DECEMBER Joanna Likar
