L E T T E R F ROM T H E G E N E R A L M A NAG E R Dear Members, Another great month is in the books for The Club at Eaglebrooke. We wrapped up the last of our capital upgrades around the facility. The golf course is in great shape, the food and service offerings continue to improve, the entire team is working as a unit and we are expecting to meet out budget goals for this fiscal year. The continued progress of our home, Eaglebrooke, is more definitely a highlight! Our member mixer event on Friday, July 27th was well received. Thank you for everyone who was able to make it out. We appreciate the support of our membership and we look to seeing you at the next upcoming events in August and September. Mark your calendars! Our World’s Largest Golf Outing is right around the corner (Monday, August 6th). Proceeds benefit the Fisher House Foundation which provides housing to families of sick or wounded military personnel. If you are interested in playing, please visit www.worldslargestgolfouting.com. In addition to the golf outing, we have a raffle drawing to help raise funds for the Fisher House Foundation. The raffle prizes include nearly 20 free foursomes of golf, a Steven Stamkos signed hockey stick, and much more. Purchase your raffle tickets in the Golf Shop today! The drawing will be held on Monday, August 6th. Don’t miss out. On Saturday, August 18th we will be hosting a golf tournament to include our Full Golf Members and Summer Sizzle Members. Our goal is to allow everyone to meet, greet and play with one another. To all our Full Golf Members, perhaps you can help convince some of our Summer Members to join as Full Golf Members. The event is $20 (plus applicable golf fees) which includes lunch and prizes for our top performers. The format will be a team point quota game, and the golf staff will create the pairings. Please sign up to play in the Golf Shop. We are currently in the process upgrading and adding the ability to view and pay your club bill, and receive your statement through our website. Our goal is to have this functionality working by the end of August. More details to come on this as it progresses. We would also like to announce that we are now allowing pull carts to be used for our members who take advantage of our walking privileges. As a reminder, walking is allowed any time during the week, and after 1:00pm on the weekends. On behalf of the team at Eaglebrooke, we look forward to a fabulous month of August. Know that we remain at your disposal should you have any questions about your Club, our services, or our offerings. We love hearing about how we can improve your experience!
