PROJECT
INFORMATION
Originally constructed in the 1970s, the surgical unit of the Central
Hospital of Brive-la-Gaillarde (19) has been given a new skin. At the heart
of this major project is the energy-specific updating of façades facing the
south-west and south-east. Under the leadership of the Espagno Milani
Architects agency in conjunction with Approved Aluminium Frame-makers
Meniere et Mas, the project is distinguished by the design of a double skin,
curtain walls and a ventilated and custom-made façade involving 5,700 m²
of GEODE curtain walls, with a horizontal layout grid and SUNEAL canopy.
Initiated in November 2012, the project will be completed in October 2014.
