OSOTA, our passion is to see children and parents
boldly navigating the challenges of this age. Our
heart’s desire is to see parents partnering with
OSOTA and facing today’s unique obstacles.
Your child’s most successful future as a graduate
and young adult begins with a genuine relationship
with Jesus Christ. We wish for your scholar to know
Him both through His Word and His presence.
Our pastoral team, in cooperation with OSOTA’s
counselors, administration and teachers are committed
to the emotional and spiritual well-being of your scholar.
Scholars begin the journey into adolescence in a world
of sexting, bullying, online stalking and moral defiance.
Innocence is under attack, and parents cannot win the
battle with a single awkward talk or a strict set of rules.
Here are some resources we recommend to help you
parent:
Passport2Purity® (P2P), a resource to assist you in
building heart-to-heart communication with your preteen
while laying a foundation of purity that will prepare
them for the turbulent years ahead. Passport2Purity®
is designed to be used by a mother and daughter or
a father and son when the child is a preteen.
CelebrateKids.com, Dr. Kathy Koch’s website, provides
valuable parenting resources, including how to develop
healthy screen habits and how to understand your
child’s multiple intelligences.
Focus on the Family, offers a variety of resources on
a broad range of parenting to pics from a Christian
perspective.
Parenting Teens Summit, is an online conference with
practical tools to help your teen build lifelong faith.
