Former Commissioner
Simon Talks With Future
Leaders
PAGE 22
Former California Public Utilities Commissioner
Timothy Alan Simon was interviewed by five
young leaders on issues as varied as the importance of education and raising capital for
entrepreneurial endeavors. The interviewers,
aged 10 to 25, are students within the San Diego school and college districts as well as participants in the College Bound San Diego program, with which the San Diego NAMC Chapter
has formed an alliance. The young leaders,
overseen by NAMC President Aldrica Lattimore, NAMC Education Committee Chair Rod
Thompson, NAMC Events Committee Chair Michael Anderson, and NAMC photographer and
Community/Public Relations Committee Member Shellanee Brock, conducted the interview
at San Diego State University thanks to technological advances in business communication
while Simon was in his office in Sacramento.
