The Community Becomes the Classroom iCare…iServe…iLead Youth Leadership Program for Students Entering 6th-8th Grade July 10 - 14, 2017 SIGN UP TODAY! Area youth have an opportunity this summer to make a difference in the community while learning about leadership and the rewards of volunteering. Geared toward middle school students entering 6th through 8th grades for the 2017-2018 school year, the iCare...iServe...iLead: Youth Leadership Program promises to be inspirational and fun. Based on the  Character Counts  philosophy of “Respect, Responsibility, and Fairness,” the Chamber’s innovative program pairs these concepts with a healthy dose of community involvement. The goal is to foster a spirit of civic commitment, develop good decision-making skills and unleash the leadership potential in Dublin area youth. The tentative schedule includes a visit to Goodwill Industries, volunteering at the Dublin Food Pantry, a government overview, Camp Mary Orton Team Building Exercises and much more! These self-discovery experiences will help students better comprehend the needs of the community and its residents. Such life lessons are long lasting and often translate to heightened community involvement far beyond the scope of the youth program. The program will be held July 10 to July 14, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Location detail will be emailed to participants after registration. Space is limited, so register today at www.DublinChamber.org.org/youthleadership or call 614-889-2001. Dublin Chamber News 5
