Gustavo Langrebe and Marcelo Sala‘s Argentinean grill first opened in Pasadena in 2009.
Named after the year the Argentine War of Independence began, 1810 focuses on “sim-
ple everyday food.” The beef empanadas and skirt steak are best sellers, but fish entrees,
salads and sandwiches are also available. A hit in San Gabriel Valley, they decided to
expand into the Fashion District where local and visiting fashion types are always on the
prowl for a delicious meal. The restaurant is located on the northwest corner where Spring
and Main converge at 9th street, just steps away from the CMC and New Mart Being a
corner space, the restaurant is bright and airy and the people watching is first-rate. Lunch
runs $7-$12, Dinner $12.-$24. Beer and wine is available. If you are coming with a crowd,
order Plato Mixto and/or Plato Carne.
