Named after the year the Argentine War of Independence began, 1810 focuses on “sim- ple everyday food.” The beef empanadas and skirt steak are best sellers, but fish entrees, salads and sandwiches are also available. A hit in San Gabriel Valley, they decided to expand into the Fashion District where local and visiting fashion types are always on the prowl for a delicious meal. The restaurant is located on the northwest corner where Spring and Main converge at 9th street, just steps away from the CMC and New Mart Being a corner space, the restaurant is bright and airy and the people watching is first-rate. Lunch runs $7-$12, Dinner $12.-$24. Beer and wine is available.
