FOH, (restaurant-speak for “front of the house”) brings upscale Mexican cuisine and a decidedly updated room to the Financial District. The man in the kitchen is famed Cabo San Lucas Chef Rodrigo Cabeza de Vaca. FOH is his first stateside space. I’ll let the foodies dissect the nuances of the menu, but know that great thought and care has been put into both celebrating tradition dishes and pushing the envelope with unexpected ingredients. The newly reworked interiors strike a contemporary balance of industrial hard edge surfaces and rustic materials and touches.
