Social Service Activities
18.1 Formation of a National Level Scientific Organization
The class of Research work pursued by my research group and me always tends to be
application oriented with practical benefits in mind. I am always encouraged to take
up projects that are not an end in themselves but will, with refinement and further
research, benefit society at large.
In addition to the committed Research work that I am doing, I have established a
scientific Organization named ‘Indian SpectroPhysics Association’ ISPA for short,
which I have registered as a society in November 1998 (103/98) and for which I am
the Founder - President and there are duly elected office bearers as Secretaries,
