State Level
A commendable programme adopted by ISPA is the organization of an annual
technical seminar towards the end of the academic year for the postgraduate and M.Phil
students of physics & chemistry. In this seminar the students are encouraged to present the
work done on their M.Sc. & M.Phil projects. This motivates them to do work of good
standard, and not just review work, and also orients them towards research. To further
enthuse the students, prizes have been instituted for the best paper presentations. This is
unique of its kind as it provides an opportunity for the P.G. and M.Phil students to showcase
their project work and motivate them to research. ISPA has organized so far 14 such technical
seminars. From 2010 onwards it is conducted as the technical seminar for PG and
M.Phil. Students at National Level. During these conferences and seminars, the meritorious
and dedicated scientists working in this field are honoured with ISPA awards. The students
are prized with the best paper presentation awards.
