On similar lines, India’s soft drinks industry is expected to register steady growth as it is being fuelled by social change and strong economic growth. Also, the latest trends like greater use of natural ingredients including: higher juice content; healthy-alternatives; and lower sugar content are forcing this industry towards innovation. The millennials in India are becoming more health-conscious and they monitor everything they consume. Also, they are more inclined toward the ready-to-go options such as: easy availability; anytime-anywhere consumption; and convenience when it comes to food and due to this India’s packaged drinks market has charted a high growth trajectory. It is evident that India is witnessing growth in almost all beverage segments. Therefore in order to meet the consumer’s demand and to grow in the market, Indian beverage companies need appropriate machinery for the production, processing and packaging of beverages.
