HOW THEY MET
Michael and Kristen met on Tinder a few years ago(I know,
right?), and though neither of them were looking to find love,
love found them that fateful night at Pei Wei in Beverly Hills.
Kristen had just moved to Los Angeles from Sacramento to
work at Pink Lotus Breast Center, and Michael was struggling
to find his way in a new career at Oak Capital Group. Upon
first meeting each other Kristen became extremely sick , and
on their second date at Harvard and Stone in Hollywood, Kris-
ten felt like she needed to go to the hospital, and Michael,
being the gentleman that he is, rushed her to urgent care
before the sun came up. Though this didn’t seem like the
optimum conditions to start a relationship, it was actually a
great bonding experience for both of them, and they had an
opportunity to overcome something difficult together, and
show a nurturing and supportive side that is rarely seen on the
second date. After they finally recovered from this illness(he
also became ill shortly after) they’ve barely spent a day apart. On the drive up to Paso Robles from Los Angeles Mike was
squirming around, and anxious. Leading up to this day he had
spent countless hours calling wineries, speaking with the wine
tours, scouting locations, and planning an engagement party
complete with catering, a DJ, and quirky decorations. So with
all these thoughts rushing through his mind they cruised up
the 101 expediting his fate to soon be engaged to the girl of his
dreams (well, that is only if she says yes.)
THE PROPOSAL
Before starting this proposal story I must educate the audience
on Kristen’s impeccable ability to sniff out any surprises with When they finally arrived at their hotel Michael was frantically
trying to hide the ring, and box (for some reason he thought
it was important to have the box open with ring glimmering in
absolution and precise accuracy. So in order to make life as
difficult as possible on himself, Michael decided to not only
plan an elaborate engagement, he also decided to throw a
surprise engagement party the following day. Their proposal
started with a random trip up to Paso Robles for a wine tasting
tour, which to most would seem a bit “engagement-like,” but
to Kris, it was too obvious to be the real thing (boy was she
wrong.)
