HOW THEY MET
Alvin and I met playing Ultimate Frisbee
while we were attending the University
of Mississippi. We were friends for over
a year before we started dating. We were
fast friends who ultimately fell in love.
THE PROPOSAL
Alvin and I love traveling and are
always looking for a new adventure. We
did a road trip around Iceland which
ended up being the perfect place for
Alvin to propose. On the third day of the
trip Alvin stopped the car on the side of
the road where the snow-covered black
beach met the mountains, and proposed
on top of a rock. The view what incredi-
ble no matter which direction we looked
and we were the only people in sight for
hours.
WHY A DESTINATION WEDDING
In 2014, we completed a 500 mile
pilgrimage though Spain called El
Camino de Santiago. Ever since then we
fell in love with Spain. Because Spain was
too far for family members to travel to
