Born in France , Hervé Moreau has been the Pronovias creative director since 2013 , working non-stop designing breathtaking wedding dresses . He loves travelling and living in Barcelona , but visiting every weekend Paris , his second home , when work allows him . Hervé Moreau took time from his busy agenda to answer our questions about trends for 2018 , his favourite fabric and his advice to the Bride looking for the dress of her dreams .

Pronovias has been “ Dressing Dreams ” for over five decades now . How have your designs changed or revolutionized the Pronovias brand forward into a new era of Bridal Fashion ? The market of bridal fashion is ever-evolving . Nowadays girls know what they want . They have new icons : confident , sexy and sensual women , and they don ’ t necessarily want grand princess dresses anymore . Hence , we have reinterpreted the classic volumes for lighter versions , while still offering ball gowns . We ´ re embracing modern designs and trying to break old rules , also continuing to offer the classical options , creating all kinds of gowns for brides all over the world . In this case , we wanted to keep the romantic and classic style , but at the same time introducing a more modern and innovative touch , giving plenty of styles possibilities , that will allow brides all over the world to identify themselves with the collection . The typical Atelier Pronovias style is to redefine the classic mermaid shape adding sensuality and femininity . Plunging necklines , accentuated backs and of course , the enhancing of the femininity and sensuality of the women through lateral and frontal necklines more pronounced , more accentuated backs and slits at the leg .
Can you describe who is the “ Pronovias Bride ” that you have in mind when you are designing a collection ? A bride who feels faithful to herself . I want my brides to feel like the best possible version of themselves on their wedding day . Your wedding day is such a happy moment and I want my dresses to feel like a dream come true , as we say in Pronovias , we are ‘ dressing dreams ’.
What are your favourite bridal trends from the Pronovias 2018 Wish collection ?
